Neet PG Counselling 2024: Registration Dates, Merit List, Cutoff

NEET PG Counselling 2024 will be conducted on November 17, 2024, through online mode on its official website (https://mcc.nic.in/). The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi, is authorized to conduct online counseling for MD/MS/DNB Admission 2024 as per the merits of the NEET PG Exam 2024. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially released the NEET PG 2024 central counseling schedule for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) and 100% Deemed, Central Universities, and AFMS seats. The counseling process includes four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and an Online Stray Vacancy Round, scheduled from November 2024 to January 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET PG Counselling

Candidates must have passed or hold a provisional MBBS Pass Certificate at the time of NEET PG 2024 registration. To qualify for the NEET PG 2024 examination, candidates must obtain a minimum aggregate score of 55%. It is required that candidates complete their internship by August 15, 2024. The Indian Medical Council Act 1956 determines the eligibility criteria for NEET PG 2024. It has been announced that the age criteria for the NEET PG 2024 examination will be published in the official NEET PG 2024 brochure.

• Medical Council Registration: Aspiring candidates must possess a permanent or provisional registration issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the State Medical Council (SMC). 
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates are required to secure the minimum qualifying marks in the NEET PG examination. The cutoff scores are determined based on factors such as the number of candidates and the difficulty level of the exam.
• Citizenship: NEET PG is open to Indian citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and foreign nationals. However, foreign nationals are eligible only for specific seats and they should review the specific eligibility criteria.

Required Age for NEET PG 2024

Unlike some other competitive exams, the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) does not impose an upper age limit on candidates. This means that individuals of any age can appear for the NEET examination if they meet other essential eligibility criteria. NEET PG Cut-Off Score and Percentile

The applicants’ overall exam score will decide the NEET PG score, while the average score’s standard interpretation will determine the NEET PG cutoff percentile. To be eligible for the Counselling process, each candidate must achieve the NEET 2024 cut-off individually to be awarded the qualifying percentile and score.
